What doves FFA Offer members?
Today’s FFA members are tomorrow’s leaders, pursuing careers in production agriculture, politics and agriscience, And becoming corporate executives in the food, fiber and natural resource industries of agriculture.
Mission FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.

Important Milestones in the organization’s History
• 1928 – The Future Farmers of America was established in Kansas City, Mo. It consisted of 33 members from
18 states.
• 1929 – The official FFA colors were established – National Blue and Corn Gold.
• 1935 – New Farmers of America (NFA), an organization for African American
Students interested in agriculture, was formed in those states where schools were segregated.
• 1965 – The FFA and the NFA merged, increasing FFA membership by 50,000.
• 1969 – Women were admitted to National FFA membership

Awards and ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Last year our chapter got awarded a grant that gave us 2,500 dollars to help our commuity agricvulturally with this money we have made a community garden and raise chickens to ditrbute eggs to our community
Subtage: Types of degrees
American – The American FFA Degree is awarded to FFA members who have demonstrated the highest level of commitment to FFA and made significant accomplishments in their Supervised Agricultural Experiences (SAEs).
• State – The State FFA Degree is given to the top members of a State FFA Association
• Chapter- The Chapter FFA Degree is given to an FFA chapter’s top members
• Greenhand- Greenhand FFA Degrees are given out at the chapter level
Discovery- Discovery FFA Degrees are given out to at the chapter level.
